A wise and trusted friend told me last night that he knows how busy I am and that he understands how hard it is to find the time, but that it matters to himself and others so much when I write on this blog.
So, I’m making a commitment to publish something every week, even if it’s a brief thought. Then, maybe, it will open me up to some longer and more researched posts moving forward.
Thank you for following me. I will do my best to be “back.”
Ever, Reverik

I enjoy them…. and I will also confess that after I watch the service at my home church, the 2nd part (which includes sermon) from another local church where I was married and my very good friend is doing her pastoral internship, and then I watch what is left of your “Modern?” service… which is also close to the sermon time… so I rewind to watch the sermon if needed… or just watch for it… I will also confess that I have even popped in to a couple of your Wed night sessions….. and I have enjoyed them. I think the first one I watched was when you were talking about communion and who is able to take communion at your church, etc…. I had realized a while back that if we visited, it was possible that we wouldn’t be allowed to take communion… I had also heard from another source that sometimes Missouri Syn churches would allow it if the Pastor gave permission. I haven’t checked in on Wed nights for a while though… right now my Wed evenings are already triple booked – Mostly due to Lenten Services, but also Adoptee Advocates of Michigan who have bills that have passed through the MI State House of Reps with a vote of 98-8 and is now in the MI State Senate Civil Rights, Judiciary, and Public Safety Committee. Since the committee meets every other week on Thursdays, The AAOM meetings are currently the night before to touch base, talk about how to respond to some of the comments, etc. Hoping they will at lest make it out of committee. Got to go… been thinking about you… and “watching” you (but not in a stalking kind of way – even though my daughter nicknamed me “Stalker” many years ago when I was helping Adoptees and Birth Family members connect… Peace Erik,Cousin Angie
